The Best Tire Shop in Saint Augustine
Tires are the single most important safety feature on your car. They are the only thing that connects the car to the road, and life-saving technologies like anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control cannot do their job if the tires don't have a good grip on the pavement.
As the adage goes, nothing lasts forever. Car owners still need to replace their tires a few times or more throughout the life of a typical vehicle. Despite advances in longer-lasting tires, actual tread life will vary by car type, tire type (such as all season or high performance), driving aggressiveness, and even road and weather conditions. Proper maintenance and responsible driving can maximize the mileage in a set of tires.

Tire Inspection
Tires should be inspected regularly-ideally during oil changes or tire rotations. We check for tread wear, cracks, bulges, punctures, or foreign objects that could cause failure. Even small imperfections can evolve into dangerous situations.
Tire Repairs
Our tire experts inspect your tires to determine if they can be safely repaired or need replacing. We follow strict safety standards-if the tire can be plugged and patched properly, our certified technicians will handle the repair to get you safely back on the road. For punctures or sidewall damage beyond repair, we'll recommend the right replacement option.
Tire Rotation
Tire rotation evens out wear across all four tires, maximizing their lifespan and helping you avoid premature replacements. Generally, tire rotation should be done every 5,000 to 8,000 miles. Evans Automotive & Tire Center can help set up a schedule tailored to your vehicle and driving habits.

What Our Customers Are Saying
High quality operation. The guys seem real trustworthy and it feels like you are getting premium service. I can’t compare prices to other places but the prices here always seem reasonable. I went to school with the guy that runs or owns the place and he’s always been an upstanding guy. I recommend this shop.

Always appreciate the great service I get at Evan's Automotive- my family and I have been going to them for years, and we will continue to do so- everyone is polite, efficient and prices are quite reasonable.
Saint Augustine, FL
I had an oil leak and I first brought my truck to Bozard since I had warranty. They quoted me over $1,000 telling me that I will need a lower oil pan to be replaced. I told my neighbor and he told me to go see Nate at Evans Automotive off 207. I brought it there and they told me they took a look at it and saw that the gasket was worn out and it was leaking from the drain plug. They installed a new gasket and new drain plug and it only cost me $117. I will bring every vehicle to them for now on. It’s hard to find a trustworthy and reliable mechanic and I did! Thank you guys for your honesty and hard work!
